To start searching
the web-based learning resources from the ETB network,

BROWSING THE CATEGORIES
way to look for resources is by category. These categories represent
different microthesauri (=MT) of the ETB Thesaurus.
This is the perfect place to start if you're not exactly sure which search
term to use!
each category you will find in parentheses (#) how many multilingual resources are available.
- Just click
on a category of your choice.
- You will
be able to narrow down your choice while you are clicking on categories!

easily continue your search and change the subject category just
by clicking any underlined word in the description of the resource.

These terms are actually from the ETB Thesaurus, this favours a flexible,
post-coordinated search strategy.
- This sophisticated
feature is available to let you see what kinds of resources are available
in your interest area!
- For example
the category "Environment" gives you a total of 28 resources.

click on it, you will see the more detailed top terms (Figure 5 and

You can continue
your search until you find the term of your interest by opening subsequent levels of the hierarchy(Figure 6).
